I broke the tiller handle – throttle cable and two other parts
I heard that its tricky to fix
So it was suggested that I get a service manual.
Specifically the section on the throttle cable.
I already have a parts list.
      This is my fishing motor!
      Thanks for reading

        Well, that is a shame…
The tricky part of this is snaking the stop switch leads through the handle. There is only one special tool involved, the little clamp that compresses the locking tabs on the tiller handle, but this tool is pretty easily substituted.
So, do you just need the aluminum tiller handle, or did you damage the throttle cable also? I am away from home, but will find the manual pages when I get home in a week. I probably have an empty tiller handle you can have also, but it will probably need to be painted….
        Don
        How did you break it??

I have all the parts-or at least they are coming
          Yes throttle cable is kaput
I used a old time outside measuring caliper to compress the locking tabs
I would deeply appropriate the any or all the pages you have.
I don’t know how big the service manual is but I will private message you my email address
To try to make a long story short
I have a flip top box that holds my battery and gas tank.
The lid flew up while on the highway going fishing.
And you can see the results
