      Trying to find head gasket for Chrysler 9.2 hp model #9701. Anyone know what that part number is or where I might be able to locate one?

        Here’s one place, that lists ALL the 9.2 gaskets as "discontinued"

            A company local to me makes custom gaskets, including head gaskets. Cost is probably less than 40 bucks. PM me and I’ll give you the details of what is needed.

                Just wanted to give everyone an update on my search for the head gasket. Franzmarine recommended I contact Sea-Way Marine. They specialize in hard to find and no longer available new old stock parts for Johnson, Evinrude, Gale, Chrysler, Force, and Mercury outboard motors. They actually had the head gasket in stock and shipped it out same day.
