asking for a friend- converting a dual line pressure tank to single line use

Has anyone converted a dual line pressure tank to single line???? ( just to keep the “look” of the old pressure tank)
Yes I agree pressure tanks are fine but he wants the old look to work with a fuel pump he presently has.

problem is you will need to pump up the fuel in the carb   to get going .

that kind of destroys the originality of the the dual hose look.  otherwise the pump can  suck gas from the fuel side of the  dual hose while the  cap is unscrewed
