        I think you’d have a hard time mounting them where a 580321 goes. However, I use ones like that in Mercury/Bendix ignitions all the time.

          the mounting bracket could surely be cut away …. price is nice we could somehow have the uf value at 15-20$ a crack they get expensive

            A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

              You don’t have to cut off the bracket. It just slides off, leaving a bare cylinder shape to try to mount.

                580321 are rated .22uf Having just built William Mohat ‘s caps test box I also have left over .22uf 630v small square caps which may work fine they only cost $.50 each

                thay could be stuffed inside old emtied out capacitor cases squeezed a bit to make them oval shape

                    tubbs… not bad $$$ in the US.. in Canada ??? I need to check it HD canada is not as parts savy as their home company

                    checked out napa canada they have similar caps for for 8.69 $ which is not bad

                    but ….if my $0.50c caps will do the job.i’ll stuff them in old caps cans in my junk box

                    if my cheapies fail i’ll go napa …or better yet Massena NY home Depot when they open up the border crossing …one day 🙂

                      ok found/ordered 2 x dr70 T …I’ll test them out on the ” box” and measure their capacitance tomorrow. $10 each 🙁

                      Car ignition capacitors seem to be going the way of dodo birds …. my NAPA had non in stock !
