I agree but as you know, everything in U$$ plus shipping fees in U$$$ plus the exchage rate makes things less attractive unless one live close to the ” open” US border and gets US mail box to visit on occasion
I am just generating hobby time during the winter .. i’ll be trying out the cheapy caps (April May) with direct mounting (ground screw to points screw without stuffing then in old capacitor cans )
btw I tried emptying capacitor cans …. much easier if you grind away the rounded end lip on top …. the innards just pop ou easy leaving the cardboard liner intact

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
