Back Again / Spark / No Spark

1956 Johnson QD-17 1-hp.

Im to the point where im ready to  add fuel to this little motor.

After checking for spark again , i have now lost it. I cannot understand WHY i can have spark then lose spark ?

Could anyone offer any ideas why this is happening , i have cleaned the points ??

Also what is best to use as a starting aide in the cylinders ?  Thank you. D

Have you done anything to the ignition system ? Cracked coils can cause intermittent spark.

Thank you , After making adjustments , i forgot to reset the coil / flywheel  mag.gap , they were touching.  Dang sometimes !  🙁
