      Hi I am trying to remove upper water pump housing on my 1958 Scott Hiawatha 7.5. I have removed upper cover and impellor but cant seem to remove the lower section due to the outlet spigot wont let me lift it. Do I need to remove shaft to access lower pump? Will pulling down on shaft damage seal on lower pump with the key?
