      I’ve a couple of coils that look like coils used on some Mercs, Olivers and Commanders but are they. See photo.

          That is a real Bendix coil not the Military look a like.

            Is the coil an after market one as the part number on it must not be a Merc # or you would probably not asked to see the other side of coil.

              It could be aftermarket I have one motor with coils like that with Red & Black leads but they were made for Bendix magneto. When I say its Bendix I mean its not the Military Surplus one.

                A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

                  Are you planning to use them, or just wondering what they are for? I would be interested, but only if you do not have a use for them.

                    Once I found what they were for sure I posted a for sale ad on our sight and they’d been sold.
