What say ye of above mentioned motor?
Bendix SMD, serial # 3C998, in my mind is a Bendix Single, magneto, Deluxe version.
What do I look for what should I expect?Thanks

classicomctools@gmail.comMarch 27, 2017 at 5:44 pm #55036Be careful reinstalling the flywheel as the points can be damaged if the cam on the flywheel isn’t lined up correctly. Maybe consider using lawn mower oil in the mix to as the Bendix is air cooled.
If you need a set of new points, I have a P/N somewhere for ones from an auto supply which match the originals.
