I was wondering where the best place to purchase and what type of magneto wire to use on older outboard motors like 50s and 60s outboards?

      Thanks,
      Joe

        Spark plug wire?

I’ve used this stuff with success.

          Thanks Mumbles,
It doesn’t say how many feet you get? I am re-doing like 8 engines right now.

Any 7mm metallic core wire is fine. You can get it at your local dealer by the foot, NAPA, tractor supply, online, etc…

If you do multiple motors, you can get it in 50′ or 100′ rolls to save some money.

I bought a roll from these people last year and it has worked great. Like Chris said you might want to check at one of your local retailers, it might end up being a better deal in the end.
