Was this a dealer option or is this an afterthought ?

Tiller was standard equipment on rope start models, Optional accessory on electric start models.

Sorta makes sense, guess I just never ran across one. Maybe few of the Armstrongs made it out here..

If I was closer I’d have that one to add to my line of Golden Jubilees. 😀

Isnt that a Johnson twist grip? Rumored to be the most uncomfortable grip ever made?

                Dan,

I noticed that too. I love the late 50’s Johnson’s but I hate that style grip.

I saw that tiller grip too. In my opinion the correct tapered, ribbed white grip isn’t that much better. I’don’t still like to add to my line of Golden Jubilees. 😀 I have a Fastwin and a Sportwin now.

Ben, I have a nice running lark from the jubilee year when you’re ready for it! I’ll bring it to tomahawk next summer on my runabout and you can give it a whirl!!

                      Hi Scott,
The Lark is a great motor and I’d be happy to give it a whirl. It might stick out a little hanging up next to the blue and gold Jubilees though. Maybe that just means I need both 😆 . I sure hope I can make Tomahawk again next summer. That was a great time.
