Lol. No way! This is the risk you run playing with old outboards. If anyone wants to see this type of mishap first hand they should come out to an Upper Canada Chapter meet.
Not much to update. I found a set of exhaust manifolds, but a suitable exhaust tee pipe still eludes me. I believe some Speedster and Speeditwin exhausts could be trimmed to fit. I haven’t found one of those either. I’ve been holding off on making a new exhaust pipe. Maybe it’s time to start. There are just so many other projects to complete.
