I hope this isn’t too far off topic. I’m cleaning up a Spartan trailer, made in St. Paul, MN, probably in the 60s. Aside from having rollers all over the place, there are a pair of bunks with considerable curvature, and a lever setup for the rear that allows them to be raised, presumably to take weight off the rollers after hauling the boat (?). But, I can’t easily imaging a boat with a bottom configuration fitting the curvature of the bunks (which are basically 2 by 4s).

Spartan seems to be long gone as a company. Can anybody advise me on this, or point me to a good place to discuss old boat trailers?

      Thanks.

FiberGlassics website has a section on trailers.
