Can anyone help me find out the year make and model of a boat I just bought?
Found this number on the boat

A picture is worth a 1000 words. Take a photo of the MFR ID plate on the inside of the transom if it is there. You have a registration for the boat?

Only tag I can find is a capacity tag says outboard motor club of America, 1025 limit and no more than 65 HP
Is the number a HIN? Hull identification number.
Could it be a capitol-i in the first spot?
State assigned HINs for old and home built boats start with two letters for the state plus a "Z"
Yes, it starts with IN
The boat is in Indiana
Try "drag and drop" in the message compose area.
Bwloe the "Preview" and "Submit" buttons there should be an "Attachments" tab with an "Add files" button, or at least there is for me!
Could it start with IMZ?
Regardless, my guess is Serial #11078, built 9/6/1978. Manufacturer to be determined.
