yeah I find it difficult to control an electric or air powered impact driver with a slotted standard bit. Usually end up tearing up the head of the bolt! My manual impact driver works best for me.

Im trying to figure out how that Brown SK001 tool works with a rivet gun though? Have not had one of those, anyone clue me in? Or is there a video out there of it in action?

Chirs, I just viewed a video on YouTube, I don’t know how to post a link so search for "Kryptonite For Stubborn Screws – The Shake-n-Break" This is for a comparable tool but the same operation. The action of the impact driver drives the screw inward and aids in breaking the fastener loose. You can then turn the handle in and out to loosen the screw and by driving the bit into the fastener you are less likely to strip out the phillips head.

          Thanks.

I can see how that would be helpful with an air impact hammer. Found a pretty heavy duty looking one here

But how the heck does it work with a rivet gun? Still confused on that.

Just ordered it. I love my manual hand impact driver, but this thing looks mean!

It is exactly like the hammer driven tool, only the rivet gun is the hammer. The rod that screws into the side gives you the leverage to follow the screw as it is backed out. . . 🙂
