      FYI, Newark has the 0.22 uF caps in the same series on sale for $1.25.  They just barely fit into a standup WICO brass can if you cut them open carefully.  Replace the 1oo in the part number with 220:  MKP18394 220 84 HQ.

      Also, if you are going to rebuild the WICO upright can condensers, test the empty can for leakage before you rebuild them.  If the insulator at the top gets wet or saturated, they can’t be rebuilt.

        These replacement caps look great, but for those of us that are NOT electrical engineers….we. ( I ), have no clue how to figure out what is what on that site…

        Looking for a ” thing” to replace a .2mf Wico condenser .

         

        Could someone possibly make up a chart of sorts with what replacements one can use for the varying condensers used in most outboards?
