broke pin in cowl of CD 14 johnson

I have a pin broke where hood raises in center of hood…Does these pins have to be drilled out

You should be able to knock the in out with a small punch.   One end of the pin is knurled to hold it in place (can’t tell you which end) so it takes a bit to get it moving.  You could also drill it out if you can drill close to center of the pin but I’d try the punch first.

Thank you, I will try a center punch,it is broke in 2 places, hood will separate ,so I will have 3 pins to knock out
