      Picked up a brooklure 300 today in pretty good looking shape model 230-51-3D serial 378675. Does anybody know what year that motor might be and where i can get parts if i need any? Thanks steve

        That is a 1951-1953 model, built by Gale Products. As for basic parts, should be available at OMC dealer

          model 230-51-3D was sold 1951-1953
          Made by the Gale division of OMC, should correspond to Gale model 3D10

          you can find a Gale Service manual and the parts catalog for
          the "viking" badged version: 3D10V

          Magneto (coil, points) parts are available new

                Two of our members make that impeller (properly called a rotor) for much less money.
