      Just curious.
I know it’s difficult to give a price. The same motor can be found for 50$ or 500 $.
Here in Montréal, I know a small motor (up to 10 hp), circa 1947 can be found between 75 and 125 $.
Example : Evinrude Sportwin, Sportman, Viking, Firestone.
A Johnson costs a bit more. I guess it’s not always a rationnal point, people want to have "the motor Dad had when I was a teenager ".

I really love the look of the "classics" Mercury.
For me, this means a Mark 35, Mark 6, Mark 30, etc …
You see the idea, usually the ones with the beautifull SS covers, to put at the rear of a gorgeous runabout 🙂

At which real price can it be found ?
Since I never see any on sale locally, maybe I’ll have to find one in US and have it shipped 🙂
Exactly for the same reason I want a 1955 Mobylette, but think I won’t have any choice than getting one from France and get over the pond 🙂

        quote PM T2:

I picked up a basket case rowboat motor and this was buried in the bottom of the crate.

Probably take me all winter to figure out WTF it’s for….. then end up using it for a door stop……

You just found the biggest poppet valve ever made.

It’s 74 degrees outside and I just had a winter weather advisory pop up on my phone. Supposed to be sleet and freezing rain before dawn tomorrow.
