Anybody know what model and year this Caille engine is? I just grabbed it off Craigslist saving it from the scrap heap as that was where it was headed.

It’s got K118 stamped on the flywheel and transom bracket. It’s complete minus magneto and flywheel nut and the miracle is this thing turns over pretty smoothly after I added oil to the cylinders!

      Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Maybe a model 32. Check it out on Jack’s Caille site.

I was looking on there but couldn’t pin point it. I was stuck on a few different models. Some said a Model B or something like that around 1927-28 vintage. Would like to know more, it’s my first Caille. I have all Evinrude and Johnsons till this came into the house!

                  It’s a 1929 Model 32. See

Thanks for all the replies! Now I just need a mag, carb air horn and a crap-load of time to redo it and get it running! Will post when that time comes.
