how do I remove and what is the best tool to use to remove it a prop from a Caille five-speed pennant? I’ve never done it before and I don’t want to damage it 😀

As I recall, removing the propeller is no big deal.

        Disassembling it completely is.

To remove all you need to do is disconnect the linkage from the prop collar, then remove the prop nut and slide the propeller off of the shaft.

To take it apart requires much more in-depth description, as there are hidden screws under screws, and frail brass rails that are too easily broken if you don’t do it exactly right.

But just taking the prop off the foot is no biggie.

        Hope this helps.

He's livin' in his own private Idaho..... I hope to go out quietly in my sleep, like my grand-dad did..... and not screaming, like the passengers in his car...

it appears to be stuck, I may need to heat it, for some reason I thought it be more complicated thanks Chris 🙂
