Can someone help me identify what Motor this is

I aquired this motor in a trade the best I can tell is that it is a Martin. I don’t know what model it is I suspect a 20, 40 or 60. I can’t find a serial number, can anyone tell me where to look. Thanks!

Based on the leg, I believe you’ve got a Martin 60 there.

+1 on a Martin. You can see the logo on the side of the motor. Black paint with the white martin logo.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

i think IIRC both on the cowl and on the block but u can contact Russl from https://martinoutboards.com/ he should be able to help you figure it out as u will need to know for parts as there are some variants in engine parts evan on the same HP

It’s a Martin 60 but a later one. That second anti ventilation plate on the motor leg came out in 1949-1950? Usually there is an id plate located on the tiller.
