Almost done.. Bringing my inherited “Peterboro” LT-37 — to life — Serial Number 33072— Would really like to know What and How many models made in/around this era?!?!!? 1937
Please — John Strathearn Hay
April 12, 2020 at 8:58 am #1997541937 serial numbers are 29175-33434, which makes a total of 4259 motors produced in Peterborough that year. More to your point the LT-37 serial numbers are 31199-31291 for a total of 292 LT-37’s. add 7 more if we are including the long shaft LTL-37. Peterborough made all the same models as Waukegan. While the numbers produced are lower many of the Peterborough motors are still around.

April 14, 2020 at 7:35 am #199956I guess you’re right. I’m sure that’s where I got it. It’s definitely on the Early Johnson Outboards Facebook page. And before I get pounded about why we post all this useful archive stuff on Facebook it is because we can’t post it here in any meaningful way. It’s an issue we’ve brought up and the club is working on it.

Hello Hayfever…..
I’m an admin here on the site and I noticed this morning that some of your posts were flagged by our software as SPAM. That’s why they did not show up immediately. I’m sorry about that; it is certainly through no fault of yours. The site that you were linking to (boatinfo) has inexplicably been singled out by automated software as SPAM….and anytime anyone (Not just YOU) includes that link in a post…..the post disappears.
Again; I’m sorry. I hope you get the information that you came here for. As for the Inner Sanctum and all it holds…..you have to be a paying member to access that. It looks like you are not a paying member at this time…..if that is not correct let an admin know and we can get that fixed.
Thanks for your contribution here; if you’re not yet a member….please consider joining.
