No visible tilt adjustment – Trolling motor?

          Look kind of Clinton-esque.

The basic shape looks identical. I looked at other Clinton lower end bracketing and their stern brackets all have that additional section which appears to lock the motor in a specific attitude. If mine is a Clinton bracket, it probably just doesn’t have that added feature. Thank you. Well done.

Looks like the tilt adjustment part has been ground off (??) That’s odd.

Tilts ground off… perhaps were going to be used for some arrangement of a transom clamp wheeled dolly or a car roof top loading rig.

I thought that would be a good way to put temporary lights on your boat trailer. Attach them to the boat. Wrap up the wiring and put it in the trunk of the car when not in use. . . 😆

Looks like it had some kind of tap-in pivot bolt. Clinton/Eska/just about everybody I can think of used a standard-issue carriage bolt ?

Or maybe my eyesight is worse than I thought…
