      I have done a lot of J/E 5.5 and 7.5 carb rebuilds and, in my opinion, there is only one kit to get and that is the OMC 439071. Look on eBay and you can usually find them for $22 to $25.

        Is it OK to ask about other old carburetor kits / parts?

        Maybe I made a mistake of seeing my first zephyr at the Constantine meet and have purchased a couple to fix up. Are carb parts available for them?

          After some of the questions I’ve seen on this site , I think it is fine to ask about anything! I have not seen carb kits for motors older than the early 50s. It’s just seems the mind set at that point was one part at a time. Those motors had a different size packing I believe and I was able to fine some awhile back.
