      Howdy folks.
      I’m working on a Johnson 5.5hp CD12.
The tip of the low speed needle is broke off in the carb.
Is there any chance of removing the broken tip from the carb?
Any suggestions and advice welcomed and appreciated.

Try shooting canned air into the low speed needle cavity on the broken tip until it gets good and cold then try gently tapping on the carb body. A few heat and cold cycles may free it up and let it drop free.

It might be possible to press on the broken tip if you pull the Welch plug.

            Thanks for the help guys.
I had already pulled the welch plug and tried to push it out
but it wouldn’t budge. I didn’t want to push to hard in fear
            of mushrooming the tip.
I tried the canned air trick and I was able to push it back till
it was even with the chamber wall.
I then hit it with compressed air and it shot out.
Now to let this heat wave cool down so I can work outside.
            Thanks for the help.
