What brand is this carb and when were they made?  On motors built in Saint Paul MN in 1926-1934 era, 2 HP Monarch outboard. I believe both are the same brand due to the 3/16″ fuel line being soldered into the brass item on top of the bowls.  The all brass carb is probably older and from 1926 due to the low serial number on the motor. Both have a primer.  The brass carb has a throttle that is a rod which is pushed or pulled for slow-fast.  The partial brass carb has no throttle.MonarchBrassCarb1926Maybe007

I wonder if one is a Champion carb and the other is a Monarch. They both sort of look like the Tillotson carbs on a Lauson 410.

They are both on Monarch outboards.  I can’t find any Lauson 410 carb pics to compare.

I have a couple pictures of the Lauson Model
A-410 carb. Harry. There is some resemblance.

I agree with a resemblance with addition of butterflies due to the newer 1940 age perhaps.  My 1937 Tillotson list starts in 1927 but shows their first Lauson carb as 1928 which they call carb model MS-22A on Lauson model JA-815.    Now looking for picture of MS-22A or B or C carb on Lauson JA-815 from 1928 to 1931.  Trying to date these motors with some facts.
