      I just picked this up for $15 and it seems pretty beat, but no obvious reason it can’t run.

      This is of interest to me largely because they were made in Minneapolis. As far as I know the 1J was the most basic postwar model–4.2 hp single. Pics of one here: http://library.mysticseaport.org/msca/e … =2004.55.6 .

      There is a stash of Champion paperwork on fiberglassics, but not a lot otherwise that I’ve seen. Is there anybody around who takes a special interest in Champion and might have some stuff around?
