I just tore into a 1946-47 Champion 2J17 today.
It’s a 4.2 hp, single cylinder, with the rewind below
the power head.
Anyone have a parts manual for one of these,
or know what it has for a water pump?
The Scintilla coil looks good, and test good, I believe,
at 6.87 k ohm secondary, and 1.2 primary.
The lower unit has an ugly weld, but
I have a froze 1J that looks like it has the same LU.
Anyone know if LU parts are interchangeable?
It was previously owned by a mouse, but looks like
he "moved out".
