I used some in a 1940 Johnson DT-10, as the spark plug
cover would ground out the longer plugs when it’s
installed. Only ran it in a while in a test barrel, but
seemed okay.
Am curious if they’re the same heat range in J6C’s?
I have a set of 4 of them in my 1949 Zephyr. The longer plugs that were in it were grounding out on the cover. After switching them it seems to be doing fine. I have not run it very much at all, but enough to get it to temperature and idle it down and see that the grounding issue was gone.
