Champion D1D 1938 3.2 hp.

I need a manual for a champion D1D 1938 outboard. What kind of water pump does this outboard have and is there a connection between the carb and mag plate to give it more gas

All I know is it has a plunger pump.

The carb throttle and magneto advance are not connected, and you
have to operate each one separate.
As Frank said, they have a plunger pump. I believe it’s operated off
of the drive shaft. I have two of the D1D’s, but no manuals.
I don’t have a good photo, but believe the water pump is
in the tin pie pan in my photo!

Thank you I have at least something to go by and some pictures that will help me get started. The carb I have is a MS-85D but it calls for a MS-85C I hope that it will work looks the same but it opens to the left instead of the right. Hope you understand what I mean. Thanks for all the help
