How old would a Neptune OB have to be? Locally listed. Price seems reasonable. Two of them together. There could be trouble with the war dept. over funding. (I’ve got to start my own account and fund it somehow!) Ad says "don’t know much about them. Don’t know if they run. $175.00 for the pair." They look like somebody just found them under something else. They are small and delicate looking. Probably 2HP or so.

So are they any better (more runable) than an Eska? My Eska is ready for the Eska toss, if I can find one.

They are good running motors but if they are not pristine and running think 175 is a bit high. Depending on model running would say @ 80-100 each unknown would probably say more like 50 ea if they are not locked up less if they are.

Neptunes are pretty neat motors. My first motor is a Neptune model AA1.
I got it at a garage sale because it was so neat, and it ran!

I took a closer look at the posted pictures. Here’s what I found.

one is model AA1 serial C484UU

second one model AA2A serial A79UO

Each one has a 2 bladed prop I’m gonna have to call the guy and at least see ’em!
