Thanks again guys – lots of options to explore . . . . will update after I get it done. Then, maybe a tutorial as how to make reproduction smalls on a budget.
I have had work done by Space Coast Plating in Melbourne Fl. and they are first class. They do a lot of work on classic car restoration.
I used Chrome Masters of Chattanooga and they were obsessive about the end result. But I felt their price was reasonable. Very happy with them.
In fact the chrome looked too good for an outboard motor…if that is possible!

Greg, could you post a photo of what you had chromed and how much it cost ?
