have a bad coil on my 1937 neptune 2hp ob12a.is there a coil that i can replace it with. thanks

Any coil that will fit without the flywheel hitting it will work. I have removed laminations and filed the center part down to make these 7/16″. An OMC coil will work quite well. I have a coil and plate with points if you want it.

Is that 2 hp Neptune an opposed twin? If so you will need rather special coil.
