My coil is junk so I would like to change it to electronic ignition if I could but need to know what to use to do that. If I can’t do that I need to know where to find a complete working coil for a Champion Blue Ribbon motor. The coil and the two feet that mount to the plate, I’ll take the points and condenser too. Doesn’t hurt to have spares I guess.

On the bottom of the coil plate it has
          Bendix-Scintilla

          Scintilla-Magneto Div.
          Bendix Aviation Corp
          Sidney N.Y. U.S.A.

The Serial number on the plate is 070710

Jim Judkins (the link I gave) has the coil. I don’t know what you do about the feet.

              Thanks Frank
I sent an email to Frank with the information. I may have to buy a used plate from ebay to get the feet
              Thanks Frank

I am trying to figure what your coil plate looks like. Is there a chance you could post a photo of this? I may have one in my junk pile.

I believe i can help you out. I have plates for the two cylinder motors that would work. I don’t have the handle for these. Check your pm.

BIG THANKS to John C for all his help. Without him I may have never gotten the engine running
