      Good afternoon,
      Starting work on a 1959 Evinrude 3hp model 3030 and an Evinrude sportsman model 4425. Would anyone know what I should expect for compression on these engines? Any help is much appreciated.

        About 80 is great on the 3hp. It’ll run on 60 but not like it should. Don’t know what to expect on the 4425

          75 is good (the higher the better) below 65 you’re getting into trouble.
