You can make your own elixir which is not exactly the same but is similar to Sea Foam by clicking on this link.

I use a mixture of Marvel Mystery Oil & Ethanol Defense as an additive in premium fuel. It makes up for the horse pee quality gasoline available today and adds top end lubrication.

So I’m trying to start this fleetwin but it’s being difficult. Rebuilt carb, new fuel/air line. New seals in the connector. Pressure tank holds pressure.
If I pull the plugs and squirt fuel in it fires right up. If I squirt fuel in the carb throat it does not. If I try choking it it comes out the bottom end. Butterfly is opening properly.
            What am I missing?

Pulled the fuel and airline off. There is a little fuel in this air line fitting. Is that normal?

OK, when you squirt fuel in the cylinders and it fires, does it keep running?
Yeah, there is usually some fuel that will spray out of the pressure port, especially if the engine was flooded…

Explain what you mean by: if I try choking it comes out the bottom end….

I guess what I mean is if I pull the choke it floods almost right away and the fuel exits the exhaust.
So if everything is dry and I try to start it it won’t fire. Pull the choke and it still won’t fire but floods. Pull the plugs they are wet. Dry them off, put fuel in the cylinders reinstall plugs and it fires but only as long as the fuel I put in lasts.

OK, so the engine will not run on its own, it stalls after whatever the injected fuel runs out…
Does it look like anyone has messed with the intake manifold? It is possible that someone has attempted to convert the engine to single line/fuel pump, and messed with the reed components to do it… The two black rubber relief valves on the reed plate might be messed up….
But, before you dig into the intake manifold, you should recheck the carb and make sure it isn’t messed up/flooding/restricted somehow.
Finally, and I guess I should have led with this….Are the fuel/air hoses connected properly? In other words, is the air line connected to the carb, and the fuel line connected to the manifold port?

Yes the engine will run squirting fuel in the plug holes and in the carb throat. It runs then stalls and the prop is dripping with fuel. So I’m assuming flooding. Carb was rebuilt with a new brp kit. I will take it apart and look see but not sure what to look at again. Float height good, needle and seat good, everything cleaned good. Fuel air lines correct. It does look like someone has removed the screws at one point from the intake manifold. It’s definitely a flooding problem opposed to a starvation . Has to be something in the carb, but what?
