Shows your magneto has an x2186 condenser.http://www.oldengine.org/members/diesel … agCap1.htm
shows that X2186 condenser is .16 – .20That first link has other outboard models too.
January 25, 2017 at 11:05 am #51683I can’t get those links to work here at work, but I do have a cap that fits that range…It is from a Neptune so that will be my back up..

Not sure though. Not sure which model or year as it is someone else’s motor. It was at our meet last weekend and he stated he had no spark and suspected the coil.
Offered to look it over, coil is like brand new, points were filthy, and the cap I have no clue as it had no identifiers. So with this new knowledge, I will test that cap at the .16-.2 ish range and see if it is ok.

classicomctools@gmail.comJanuary 25, 2017 at 6:39 pm #51719Did you test the condenser to see what capacity it measures?
He's livin' in his own private Idaho..... I hope to go out quietly in my sleep, like my grand-dad did..... and not screaming, like the passengers in his car...

Now I do, so time to reinstall and test for spark this weekend.
