Not sure i understand how the cooling on my 1942 2hp sportsman evinrude works. Where does the centrifugal pump get the water from when motor is moving ? My gear housing and my drive shaft housing doesnt come together completely.Seems there isnt enough room for pump?Wondering if the wrong pump is in this motor.This is my first motor with this type pump and i cant find any info on this system. Hope someone can give some input on this motor. Thanks DaveR
