What type of fitting/delivery system do you guys use to fill lower units with corn head grease?

Put it in grease gun and take the grease fitting off and stick pipe in motor oil hole.

You can also take a grease nipple and put a rubber hose end on the threads of it, to form a good fit, when you pump the grease in.
I have actually seen lower units with grease nipples on them, but that’s not eally a good idea. It’ll catch weeds and the water could make a mess of the spring/check ball assembly inside. Now, if you had a grease nipple that would thread in finger tight, that would work perfectly. Then unscrew it when you’re done and put the plug back in.

I found a screw on rubber nipple that fits the threads on the end of the grease gun tube.

Some Tractor Supply stores have "00" grease in a 1 quart squeeze bottle with a tip like a gear oil bottle. Squirts right in.

Tractor Supply has a rubber grease gun tip that screws right on your grease gun.

It works perfectly and costs less than $5.00.

                  Probably available at NAPA, too.
