Correct cotter pin for TD 20 1947 propeller part number 15-84

The parts book names 15-84 as the cotter pin but as usual it does not name steel or aluminum or the length and or size dimensions.  I am trying to do a really good authentic restoration and wonder if any one knows what a 15-84 was.    Thanks everyone that has helped me so far.  This has really been fun.  Paul

Well if you mean shear pin search Ebay for Olson shear pin and at some point the pin number you’re looking for will show up. Tubs

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

The Olsen Shear Pin is a #2, according to notes I took when someone (I believe here) posted the entire listing of Olsen pins.

Thanks but this for the COTTER PIN part number 15-84 that goes through the propeller nut not the shear pin.   Thanks.   I hope there is a chart similar to the shear pin chart.  Paul

any cotter pin that fits. best is stainless or brass

15-84 was replaced by 306365 which is replaced by 302804.  Material may have changed with each substitution, may be steel, I’d go with stainless.
