      is this grip correct? doesn’t look right. and should there be a spring on the end inside the grip like on the old TD-20s

          yeah all they have are rubber sleeves on them. Most of the time they are dried out, falling apart, or melted and slimy. All depends on where they’ve been living for the past 50 years.

            A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

              You got a quacktwin? OR are you looking at buying that one. I have more than a few Johnson/Evinrude 3hp from 1952 to 1968, but no Quacktwin. I know they are the same, but I still like their look. If you buy or have it and you get it running, please post a video of it running on the boat. I like those little rascals!!!!
