LOL, I forgot about his video. Mumbles, I remember seeing that video a couple years back.

Cheers Stan, I’m having a cold beer with ya.

This is the first outboard motor I bought.

Steve AW, thanks for the picture. Is the flywheel a sea mist green? The exhaust tube and the drive tube appear to have some sea mist green as well. It is hard to tell if the side covers are aluminum color or is the sea mist green faded?

I state sea mist green, but that is just a guess, unless someone knows the correct color name.

This little motor will be my first cosmetic restoration. So, I will be asking a lot of questions from the cosmetic doctors in the club.

The flywheel is a lighter shade than Sea Mist green.
The lower shrouds are painted a silver/grey. But there is a section
that looks like it chipped the silver and it was the same green as the
flywheel. So I don’t know if it was painted over the green or not.
The lower tubes are painted silver/grey.
                  Hope this helps.
Someone in the club has a restored one in a travel case, I’ve seen it
                  at Constantine.

Here’s a link to a ‘restored’ one which Kevinf posted elsewhere. Colors may not be correct.

Maybe the one in the ad is more expensive because it has special order colours ?

                      🙂 Kev
