Looking for info on early Evinrude? 4-60 ignition systems. I’ve rebuilt a couple of Elto systems. Have questions about the early 4-60 systems. Coil tube looks about the same. Who can tell me more about it. Points, trigger. Just have the coil assembly at the moment. Another project to contemplate.

If interested in building a new coil, I can help..No help on the points, but, I believe that tube is like just under 12 inches long????…. I can 3d print a tube and inserts to hold a pair of military surplus dual output coils so you can run it and not potentially damage the original coil..

Great! With the Elto. I float the internals out, I replace with those old military generator coils and condensers. New Packard spark plug wires and encapsulate with wax. Works like a charm.
do those 4-60 coil assemblies have the condenser in with the coils or are they under the flywheel?
