Electrical Harness – 1960 Evinrude Fastwin 18 hp

I am looking for the electrical harness and switch to set our motor up for electric start.  It has an internal starter already, I just need the electrical connector and wiring harness that connects the starter with an ignition switch (and a switch).  Long since discontinued.  Any advice/help greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I think electric start was an add on feature for these motors and they came with a plug in harness for the boat side. Can you post a photo of what you have at the moment?

Yes, I was told it was not standard, but it was a factory option. I will have to post a pic tomorrow, thank you.

Those wiring harnesses are impossible to find.  Easier to just fabricate a simple start/stop/choke lead from scratch.
