Elgin 2.5 hp – Tillotson carb – float measurement

Hello all,

I have the carb taken a part again. Engine was running then just stopped. More crap in the carb and back flushed the in-line filter. Still getting debris out of the tank. While I have the carb in pieces can anyone tell me what the float drop measurement should be while holding the bowl upside down?  So far on the Facebook Elgin group I have been told; even with the bowl edge and 9/16″. I see on the odd job motor/ Elgin site it shows 1/64″ .
