      I am a student trying to restore a 1961 Elgin-McCulloch 7.5hp (574.6008) and I snapped the thread wall on the rod. Apparently the torque spec is not 100 lb-in. Does anyone know where I can get a new rod/rod-piston assembly and also where I can get reliable torque specs? I have had a very hard time finding resources for this motor.
