      Going to pick this up this weekend. Any ideas what it might be besides an Elgin? Thanks!

        Made by West Bend for Sears. I’ve never seen one with what looks like a throttle lever on the side. I’ve only got a couple Elgins, but I’m super-curious now to know the year and HP of that one, also if the lever on the front is also a throttle? Maybe one lever does spark advance and the other does carb? Let us know!

          Duel throttle control. that is . when you turn it around for reverse you can manage the speed easier.

              Pretty sure it’s a 57ish 7.5 horse built by West Bend. Possibly a model 571-5871.
