Can someone please tell me the proper values for both an Elto Ace, and Handitwin condenser / capacitor?
Also, if there is an easy drop in replacement for both, or either ? Would like to keep everything as original looking as possible.

      Thanks in advance,

      Scott

The original caps for both motors were rated at 0.10 uF. Part number 171448 for the Ace and 171449 for the Handitwin.

If you’re not too concerned about originality, Vishay HQ’s or Orange Drops can be substituted for the originals.

          Thanks Mumbles!
Do I have to worry about which side is connected to ground, as I dont see any markings indicating + or – ?

No, these ones work either way.

Here’s a link to Digi-Key Canada showing the 0.10 uF caps. Click on the little flag in the upper right corner to set it for your country.

            They have other caps to!

Thanks again Mumbles, ordered a few, and might experiment with stuffing the new ones in an old "can".
