      New replacement coils are no longer available.
      Used coils are rare as they are normally bad.
      This coil can be used with some modification.
      It’s a better choice than the one I used in my
      video as it moves the plug wire connection
      away from the crankshaft. The unused plug
      wire terminal has to be grounded to the magneto
      plate.

        As usual , all good advice from Tubs. Like he said, lots of oil, at least 12 to 1 , my opinion.  A weak point on these small motors is poor crankcase compression due to worn bushings. Poor c’case compression will cause hard starting and poor idle, but usually run OK fast. Check your flywheel for any sign of lateral movement, indicating worn bearing. The “lot of oil” thing helps increase c’case compression by filling the worn bearing.
